Adult Hair Analysis (Initial Test)
* Uncover biochemical imbalances
* Discover your unique nutritional needs
* Heal chronic health problems
What is Hair Analysis?
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is a laboratory test for 20 minerals and toxic metals in your hair. The balance of minerals in your hair can tell you about your adrenal and thyroid activity, metabolic rate, stress patterns, dietary issues, and much more. Most importantly, hair analysis provides the information needed to design a nutrition program for your unique needs.
What You Will Receive:
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) Test for 20 Minerals and Toxic Metals
You’ll get accurate readings for the levels and ratios of 20 minerals and toxic metals in your hair—presented in a chart that graphically illustrates your results. Your results provide the roadmap that guides the rebalancing of your body chemistry.
Hassle-Free Coordination of Your Hair Collection Kit
A hair collection kit will be shipped directly to your home with instructions for taking your hair sample. It will include shampoo and a pre-addressed envelope with postage that you’ll use to mail your hair sample to Analytical Research Labs in Phoenix, Arizona.
Laboratory Interpretation and Health Report Booklet
You will get a detailed explanation of your test results in a 15-20 page lab report including a toxic metal assessment, stress analysis, and insights into your metabolic type, dietary issues, energy level, immune system, adrenal and thyroid function, autonomic nervous system balance, and trends for over 50 common health conditions.
You’ll also receive my analysis of your test results based on Dr. Lawrence Wilson’s interpretation system. These reports are comprehensive and easy to read—you don’t need a PhD to understand your results.

Frequently Asked Questions
How accurate is hair analysis?
Hair testing equipment (ICP Mass Spectrometer) measures hair mineral levels with an accuracy of plus or minus about 3%. This is about the same (or a little better) than the level of accuracy of most blood tests.
How much hair is needed?
The lab needs 125mg of hair (about a teaspoon). A scale is included in the kit to ensure you send enough hair.
What type of hair is needed?
The ideal sampling location is the back of your head (nape area). This is where hair grows most consistently. Beard hair or pubic hair can also be used if sufficient head hair is not available.
Will hair sampling create bald spots?
Your hair sample must be cut from as close to the scalp as possible. This will provide the most recent information. Sampling can easily be done in a way that is not noticeable and does not affect your hair style. All of this is explained in the instructions.
Can I sample hair that has been dyed?
Some dyes contain minerals, so it’s best to take the sample before dying your hair or allow the hair to grow out about an inch before sampling.
Permanents and bleach treatments somewhat alter the structure of the hair, so it is best to sample the hair before a treatment or allow the hair to grow out about an inch before sampling.
I’ve seen hair analysis for as low as $89 dollars? What’s the difference?
You can order hair analysis directly from some labs at very low prices. However, you will then have to pay someone to interpret the test and make recommendations. I offer everything in one package. I will price match any comparable offer.
Are there any hidden or additional costs?
No. You will get everything above for a one-time fee of $300. If you decide to follow the program that we set up for you, you will need to purchase supplements. However, there is absolutely no obligation to follow the program or purchase supplements. You’ll make an informed decision after you review your program and speak with me. Even if you decide not to follow our program, the information you will receive from the test alone is very valuable.
How long does it take to get better?
Many people notice improvements within a few days to a few weeks. However, deep and permanent correction of body chemistry takes longer. To replenish 20 to 30 minerals and eliminate dozens of toxic substances requires two or three years or more depending on how well you are able to follow the diet, supplements, lifestyle, detoxification protocols and mental training exercise. Your health will tend to continue to improve as long as you remain on a program.
How long does it take to get my results and program?
You can expect to have your results and program about two weeks after you’ve mailed your hair sample to the lab, at which time you can book your consultation.
Will I receive my results and program via mail or e-mail?
How often is a new test needed?
If you decide to follow our recommendations, we suggest doing a follow up test in four months. This is needed to ensure the dietary and supplement program is still correct for you as your body chemistry changes. After that, testing can be done every six months, in most cases. The fee for a retest is $170.00 for adults and $150.00 for children.
Do you work with children?
Yes, but I am only accepting children from existing clients.
I live outside the USA, can I still do a hair analysis?
At this time, we are only serving clients within the USA.
Do you accept insurance?
No, although I can give you a receipt that you can submit for possible reimbursement.
