Discover the Healing Power of Infrared Sauna Therapy—In the Comfort of Your Home
Using a sauna daily is easily one of the best things you can do for your health. But saunas are costly, and most people don’t have the budget to buy one for their home.
Gym saunas are an option, but membership fees, no privacy, and other obstacles deter many people from using them on a regular basis.
In this course, you’ll build a lightweight and portable electric heat lamp sauna for your home at a fraction of the price that it would cost to buy one. Just follow the step by step instructions to build the sauna in less than an hour!
The infrared sauna you'll build in this course has two main parts:

1. Electric Heating Unit
The electrical unit consists of 3 or 4 infrared heat lamps (the kind used to keep chickens warm) mounted to a wood board. The lamp holders are wired together and connected to an extension cord.
You can place this unit in an insulated enclosure that is about 4’x4’, such as a small closet or shower stall. The wood board does not stand upright on its own, so it will lean against a wall during operation.

2. PVC Frame Enclosure
If a small closet or enclosure is not available, you can easily build a frame made from PVC pipe and cover it with two queen or king-size comforters, quilts, blankets, or other fabrics. The enclosure is about 4’ x 4’ and can be placed against a wall in any open space in your home. The PVC frame enclosure is lightweight and is easily disassembled for moving or travel.
